Quoting Annie
“I gave up my struggle with perfection a long time ago. That is a concept I don't find very interesting anymore. Everyone just wants to look good in the photographs. I think that is where some of the pressure comes from. Be happy. Be yourself, the day is about a lot more.”

Hathaway’s traumatic tanning
Anne Hathaway has learned to love her pale skin – after a tanning experience went horribly wrong. The Devil Wears Prada star is renowned for her pasty complexion, but the actress once decided to go a bit darker. But Hathaway ended up regretting her decision when she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. She says, “I had a spray tan done and I wound up looking like an orange zebra. When it came off, because I’m so pale underneath, I looked like a giraffe with leprosy. And I smelled like nachos and maple syrup the whole time. It was not a good idea.”

Hathaway: ‘I do Terrible Things’
Anne Hathaway does “terrible things”. The Devil Wears Prada star, 26, says she often engages in activities that would make tabloid headlines around the world, but no one will ever find out about them as she has a select bunch of trusted, “discreet” pals that will never talk to the media. She says, “I do terrible things. I just have very discreet friends. “I had an experience at college where I was at a party and people were passing cocaine around, and I looked at it and thought, that’s not a horse I can ride, I’m never going to do that. “So I passed the tray along and left the room. Being an actress is hard enough without complicating it with drugs.”

‘Gossip Girl’ Planning Anne Hathaway-Plot
Anne Hathaway is known for her role in The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada but has attracted quite a lot of buzz with her relationship with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri – so much buzz that it has also caught the attention of the writers of Gossip Girl. Hathaway’s got nothing to do with Gossip Girl and she won’t be visiting the Upper East Side either.
