Anne Hathaway is allergic to cats. The actress — who’s set to play Cat Woman in Chris Nolan’s new Batman movie — is a big animal lover but has something of an issue when it comes to felines. “Anne has always had a reaction to cats and is very much a dog person,” a source said. “She’s devoted to her chocolate Labrador, Esmeralda, but wouldn’t have a cat in the house. I guess it just shows her dedication as an actress that she’s willing to put herself on the line as Catwoman!”

First I wanted to say that I like the new format, however, your story about Anne being allergic to cats is not true. She stated in a recent interview that she wanted to get a cat while training for the role of Catwoman but didn’t because her boyfriend is allergic to them.
