Quoting Annie
“I gave up my struggle with perfection a long time ago. That is a concept I don't find very interesting anymore. Everyone just wants to look good in the photographs. I think that is where some of the pressure comes from. Be happy. Be yourself, the day is about a lot more.”

Jackman: ‘Franco is Versatile, Hathaway is Talented’
Hugh Jackman believes Anne Hathaway and James Franco will do a marvelous job hosting this year’s Oscars. The Aussie actor hosted the prestigious ceremony in 2009, and is adamant the young stars are excellent choices to follow in his footsteps. “Anne helped me out when I hosted the Oscars, as you remember,” Jackman told US TV show Extra. “I think she’s phenomenally talented. And James is one of the most versatile guys around, so between the two of them, I think they are going to be surprising and do a great, great job!”

Hathaway Not Nervous About Oscars
Anne Hathaway says she’s “really excited” — but not nervous — about hosting the Oscars. The actress will co-host the prestigious ceremony with actor James Franco and insists she isn’t dreading the experience. “Something happens to me when I’m hosting,” she says. “This is going to sound a little self-promoting and obnoxious but last time when I was at the Oscars and I got nominated and got to sing with Hugh Jackman. “I was really nervous about the nomination and then Hugh asked me to sing with him and my instinct was to be nervous about that but then the two of them combined to make this amazing euphoria rather than nerves. “I have so much going on I’m just focusing on how wonderful it is to be challenged like this. It is amazing. Not everybody gets to do this and I am really excited.”

Hathaway Doesn’t Play Love Games!
Anne Hathaway doesn’t like women who play games with their men. The sexy actress — who’s currently dating actor Adam Shulman — says ladies should go easy on guys should go easy on men looking for love and not repel their advances. “I am a girl without game because I don’t think that’s fair,” she said. “I’m not interested in games. I’m a wear-my-heart-on-my-sleeve, fall in love-at-first-sight and go with it sort of girl. It’s all about having fun with someone and learning how to communicate with someone, in a way that you enjoy.”

Anne Hathaway Allergic to Cats
Anne Hathaway is allergic to cats. The actress — who’s set to play Cat Woman in Chris Nolan’s new Batman movie — is a big animal lover but has something of an issue when it comes to felines. “Anne has always had a reaction to cats and is very much a dog person,” a source said. “She’s devoted to her chocolate Labrador, Esmeralda, but wouldn’t have a cat in the house. I guess it just shows her dedication as an actress that she’s willing to put herself on the line as Catwoman!”

Anne Hathaway Hates The Red Carpet
Anne Hathaway hates attending movie premieres. The sexy screen siren admits she’s terrified of hitting the red carpet and doesn’t like having to endlessly smile for the cameras. “I look forward to their end,” she said. “Not the end of them in general because that implies something else. “But once I reach the end of whatever red carpet I’m on, that is a good moment.” However, Anne does liking getting dressed up for red carpet events! “At the end of the day, whatever goes wrong I can’t even focus on it, ” she recently said, “because it always comes back to… ‘I’m the luckiest girl on planet Earth’. “I’m wearing a beautiful dress in a world that very few people get to be in. “Every time I do it I think, ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this right now’.”

Hathaway Nervous Performing In Front Of Will.I.Am
Anne Hathaway was “intimidated” about singing in front of will.i.am. The actress loved working on new animated movie ‘Rio’ – in which she voices the character of outspoken macaw Jewel – and though she was happy to do whatever was asked of her by director Carlos Saldanha, she couldn’t help but worry about showcasing her vocal skills in front of the Black Eyed Peas star, who also has a role in the film. She said: “Carlos can get me to do anything. Every time I would come in, he would show me more footage, and it was just breathtaking. It really was. So, when he said, ‘Can you sing?,’ I couldn’t say anything, but yes. But, it is intimidating to sing in front of Sergio Mendes and will.i.am, as I’m sure you can imagine. “That morning, I had an extra cup of coffee to steel my nerves.” Despite her fears, Anne enjoyed the experience and wouldn’t rule out doing more singing in future. She added to Collider.com: “Singing has always been something that I’ve loved to do, but I never thought about doing, professionally. I always felt more drawn to acting. But, who knows? I’m doing things that I never, ever thought I would do, in front of a lot of people, so anything is possible.”

Anne Hathaway: “I’m Dying To Be A Mother”
Anne Hathaway has a gig coming up that is the envy of Hollywood – she was chosen, along with James Franco, to co-host the 2011 Academy Awards. But there’s another event that she’s eagerly anticipating, too – starting a family. “I’m dying to be a mother,” the Love And Other Drugs actress said in a recent interview. “I’m not ready for it yet, but it’s one of the joys of life that I’m looking forward to so very much.” Anne’s four-year romance with shady property developer Raffaello Follieri ended when he was arrested by the FBI for defrauding investors and started serving a four-year jail term in 2008. For the last two years Anne has been dating actor Adam Shulman. And the actress’ desire to start a family doesn’t mean she isn’t happy with her successful career that started with 2001′s Princess Diaries – she’s just looking to mix things up a little more. “I’ve always been such a driven person,” she said. “I work very hard and right now I’m trying to find a balance. “On the one hand there’s my job, which I love and which has been my everything for so long, and then there’s making sure the people in my life feel loved and appreciated, and that I spend enough time with them,” she explained. “Let’s say I’m learning to walk the walk.”
